Finally, the contest has come to an end. This has been really fun for me to do–well worth the prize money!
Gapmunky was originally awarded first place, and was sent 1 BTC. It was soon pointed out to me that this is actually a photoshop enhancement of Dron111‘s work, which was used without his permission. I contacted /u/gapmunky and requested the prize money back. /u/gapmunky returned 0.943 BTC. I then reawarded the runner-up, /u/zeedox, the bulk of this (0.9 BTC) and sent 0.046 BTC to the original third place winner, /u/jharsem.
